A next-gen film and TV production company developing original IP and scripted entertainment.

Surrounded Studios was founded in 2026, but director Dane Del Deo and writer George Welsby started collaborating years before on the Gold Coast of Australia. Dane came from advertising and commercials. George came from the Australian film industry. Both believed in stories Hollywood wasn't funding, so they set out to build a studio that would dare to give a voice to their generation.

Now based in Venice Beach, Surrounded develops original IP and scripted film and television content for a generation that's used to being talked at, not listened to. Instead of pitching on concept alone, they shoot first, building an audience and proving their stories before bringing them to the table. Their mission: tell modern stories for the audience that's been waiting for them.
